Instruction:

Convert a Results CSV from ÓR to a standard IOFXML V3 file for import into LiveLox.

LiveLox is very specific about an import from a IOFXML V3 Results file being correctly built as per the data definition. The ÓR CSV does not contain all the content needed nor is much of it in the expected format (such as Date Time fields). Although testing of this app shows it generally works, it is based on a limited sampling and future ÓR Results may not convert to an acceptable XML format for LiveLox - be warned!

To use: After selecting the ÓR CSV Results file, modify/input the Date, Time Zone,Event Name and Event Start Time using the format/style indicated on the form. For quick testing you can leave all the settings as default - they will be used in the conversion.
Basic input validation is performed but this is limited to the length, range of numbers and, with the time zone, the correct special characters being used. Anything that does not pass will cause the app to exit with a note of the issue (I don't try to figure out what you meant).

Some things to note (and likely not all):

• Column headers are matched (case insensitive) to a coded list to obtain the column key for each required field. This allows for the situation where new columns are added, however, if a column header in the CSV changes it's name and cannot be matched, a warning will be shown as well as the list of names to expected column indexes (and which ones are missing). This will require a code update although a quick fix would be to edit the original CSV.
• The OR classifier ID values are not completely mapped to corresponding IOFXML classifiers. The conversion uses 0->OK and the reminder are mapped to DidNotFinish.
• In the examples used for testing Club Name is empty but some fields under City have club names in them. The conversion uses whichever was available (priority to the Club Field) as 'Club'.
• ScoreO points with ÓR have 3 columns (basically Net, Gross and Penalty). IOF specs are a bit weak on this so used what MEOS does - adding two Score parameters for points and Penalty then added a third for the Gross points.
• Split Times have been converted to seconds.
• These results are by Class (normal) rather than By Course.
• Currently the TimeBehind XML field is not calculated and left as 0
